Presentations
I’m happy to provide one-on-one tutoring or presentations in the Wellington area and beyond. I am happy to do any of the components of my Genealogy Courses.
Available presentations include:
- Getting Started – For complete beginners, this covers the practical things you might not necessarily think of (also described as a good refresher for more experienced genealogists)
- Filling in the Gaps – Using Newspapers to discover your family history
- Where’d the Money Go? (Why I’m not rich) – Using wills and probates
- Sarah on the Genealogical Proof Standard – How to use this methodology to ensure you’re researching the right family (30 minutes)
Presentations run around 45 minutes unless otherwise stated.
I like to tell a story in many of my presentations and then finish off with a “how to” on finding the records for your own research.
